Patrick Gatling

Patrick Gatling is multi-faceted film-maker, who works in all areas of production. He specialises in Directing, Camera work and Photography.

Patrick graduated from Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Queensland University of Technology, where he focused on both Cinematography and Producing. Since the completion of the degree, Patrick has been working gainfully within the industry. Patrick is able to move from department to department with ease. This has afforded him a well rounded knowledge of all areas of production.

​

Recent credits include being a photographer and time-lapse operator on Kong & Godzilla 2.  Patrick has also worked on other large scale productions like Thor: Ragnarok, Aquaman and Nautilus. Recently, Patrick has been working in the Visual Effects department, with Mortal Kombat and The Bluff as credits in that role.

 

When not working on large scale productions, Patrick also shoots a number of advertisements, documentaries and music videos.

Patrick's directing credits include Open/Shut, Inertia and So Done MV.

​

Patrick specialises in high quality video production shot in a documentary style. The interview/ b-roll combination plays very nicely in branded content.

​

Patrick also have a strong interest in shooting within the automotive and restaurant industries.
